Reflection: As one who signifies Christ's coming, John indeed gives witness to that Whom he signifies, not to highlight himself but the one Who is yet to come. John signifies 'Humility,' our God Who became man in the person of Jesus Christ.

Reflection: John exemplifies the humility of Whom he gives witness, Christ, the one Who is yet to come in the form of man. May all of us give witness to the humility John signifies not to highlight ourselves but the one we signify, Jesus Christ.
